Is the Global Warming Crowd Like a Religion?

According to the Boston Herald – yes.

What do I think? I’m glad you asked. Here’s the short version. I believe that pollution harms the environment. I believe it’s our Mitzvah and duty as Yidden to take care of the planet Hashem has given us. We need to keep it clean and as healthy as possible. I think recycling is important and developing cleaner energy sources is detrimental not just to a clean world but a stable middle east.

I don’t believe the sky is falling within 10 20 30 years. I don’t believe every time a hurricane hits or a blizzard blankets the city it’s proof of our impending doom.I do think that the most Chicken Little’s amongst the Global Warming crowd take it too far. I think Hollywood loves a good scare story and I think they jump on bandwagons too easily. Most celebrities aren’t very smart to begin with and they certainly don’t know how to think for themselves. I think it’s cooler to support expensive flashy hybrid cars that they can drive up and down Ventura Blvd, then it is to support a war or a hard line foreign policy.

Most of all I think you should educate yourself and not just watch a biased, questionable documentary but the guy screaming the sky is falling the loudest. Do the research yourself and come to your own conclusions.
